What has to be true before a guide is published

Publishing waits for editorial sign-off. The drafts on this site are not that sign-off.

A guide moves through discover, research, brief, draft, verify, edit, design, QA, publish, measure, and refresh. Steve Young approves publishing. The managing editor is the BNB Boost Chief of Staff.

The check

  • The guide targets a real search question. Invented search volumes are not used.
  • Platform instructions, menu labels, prices, and limits are checked against official docs. The URL and access date are recorded, and a last-verified stamp is shown only then.
  • Sources prefer official docs. Third-party pages are labeled as such.
  • The guide adds something the official doc does not, such as a diagnostic order or a way to read examples.
  • Statistics, testimonials, case studies, fake-account screenshots, and “we tested” claims are not invented.
  • Any future score is labeled an editorial estimate and shows its criteria.
  • Images are original illustrations, licensed assets, or labeled AI-generated images. Author marks are not portraits.
  • The title stays within 60 characters, the meta description within 155, and the page has one H1.
  • A guide links to its hub and to at least two related guides.
  • A BNB Boost recommendation sits next to a one-line commercial disclosure, with UTM parameters on the link.
  • Lodgify and Hospitable pages say the publication is independent.
  • The byline names the pen name and the AI-assistance disclosure.
